You can sing all that you want to, and still get it wrong.
But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. - John 4:23
Clear the stage, make some space for the one who deserves it.

I've never thought of that before, my THOUGHTS, ACTIONS, and WORDS as idolatry. Because anything that I can not stop obsessing over in my mind, is taking up time that I should be spending with my Savior. Every one of my actions should reflect my love for my God's undying love. All of my words that I speak should utterly reflect my hearts utmost desire of my life that He has planned for me. Anything that comes between you blistering your knees from repenting and not ceasing in prayer is an idol. The only way to rid yourself of your idols are to shine a light in every corner of your life. Reveal yourself before The One who created you, who knows anyways but is just yearning for you to step up.
God WILL NOT BE ECLIPSED.
A.W. Tozer: "Christ calls men to carry a cross; we call them to have fun in His name. He calls them to forsake the world; we assure them that if they but accept Jesus the world is their oyster. He calls them to suffering; we call them to enjoy all the bourgeois comforts of modern civilization affords. He calls them to self- abnegation and death; we call them to spread out like green bay trees or perchance even to become starts in a pitiful fifth-rate religious zodiac."
We have such a mixed up view of God, because our little minds cannot fathom such a thing. God's grace will save a man, but it will NOT save a man and his idols. Our life is a walking way of worship, are you walking the right way? Our reward is in heaven and not of this earth. I know that I need to set myself straight with my thoughts of how I want to run things. He is refining us by fire everyday that we take a single step.
